We keep the site accurate and up to date, and we cite our sources when we cite research. Nothing here is a guarantee of a particular commercial outcome, and it is not legal, financial, or tax advice.

5. Engagements

Work begins when both parties sign a written engagement agreement setting out the scope, price, timing, and deliverables. Prices shown on this site are starting points and may change depending on the scope. An inquiry through this site does not create a contract.

6. Payment

Unless the engagement agreement says otherwise, invoices are issued monthly or at agreed milestones and are payable within 14 days. Services provided to businesses outside Finland are invoiced without Finnish VAT under the general place-of-supply rule, with the reverse charge noted on the invoice.

7. Confidentiality

Information a client shares in the course of an engagement is treated as confidential and is not disclosed or used for any other purpose. This obligation continues after the engagement ends. Where an engagement is referenced publicly, it is anonymized unless the client has agreed otherwise in writing.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, liability arising from use of this site is excluded. Liability arising from an engagement is limited as set out in the relevant engagement agreement. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury.

9. Links to other sites

Where we link to a third-party site, we do so because the content is useful. We are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Finnish law, and disputes are settled by the District Court of Helsinki, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
